Make & Request Introductions

Introduce People Directly

Introduce two people in your network to each-other with ease.

iOSAndroid
  • Enter name or email address in the search bar
  • Select profile from results
  • Tap Introduce to…
  • Enter name or email address in the search bar
  • Select profile from results
  • You can choose to ask for permission from either person first from the dropdown or just send out the introduction
  • Tap Next
  • Add a little more context to the email by entering more info about each person or use the template provided
  • Send

  • You can choose to ask for permission from either person first or just send out the introduction

  • Tap the paper airplane in the top right corner to complete the introduction

Activity Notifications

To see requests that are waiting on you, tap on the activity notifications in the top right of the home screen.  In this section, you will be able to take action on requested introductions and accept/decline a network that’s been shared with you.

Complete an Introduction Request

Gone are the days of trying to track down an email you received asking you to make an introduction.  With Trove, you can easily see what’s waiting and act on it.

  • You can choose to ask for permission first in the dropdown or just send out the introduction
  • Tap Next
  • On the next screen you can edit any text box besides the message that the requestor sent over.

Note:

If you do not want to make an introduction, select the request and hit Ignore.  

Request an Introduction

Trove makes it easy to search for new opportunities by harnessing the power of your entire extended network.

iOSAndroid
  • Enter name, email address, title, domain, or company in the search bar
    • Try tapping on the icons in Browse your network by… under the search bar to search by Industry, Job Title, Company, or Location
  • In your results, select the person that you are trying to meet
  • In their profile,. you will see all your mutual connections.
  • Trove’s AI technology recommends the best way to get connected based on the patterns in communications.  When you see Strong Path or Good Path on a contact card, those are the people most likely to get you an introduction
  • Select your best path
  • You can customize the message to both contacts
  • Send
